Melancholic Tendencies (mt) return with an expanded musical recipe and roster. A combination of tropical rythms, wet synthesizer melodies and live instrumentation fill our ears and takes us away to a primal, simpler time in a collective memory of some prehistoric jungle. 82 and Tolliver achive an impressive amount of vocal chemistry throughout the ep and the lyrics are simple, honest and naked to the touch while also being pleasantly vague and mysterious in character. The voices of spirits trapped inside the music.
