Thoel Simérville is a rollercoaster ride. Its ice cream on pancakes with strawberry jam and a whole bucket of whipped cream. Its like listening to raindrops on window sills while sipping on a cup of your favorite blend.

Singer-Songwriter Demos Vol.1 is his first attempt at gutting himself and letting it all spill out across the stage for you to see. All the laughter, tears, happiness and frustration oozing out of him like one life sized emotional slushy of rainbows.

My opinion would be a bit alternative, I suppose, coming from a hardcore Doom fan. What I like in this kind of dark hip-hop, is the lurking anxiety, the blurred soundscapes where landmarks dissolve. the world is a incomprehensible place to be and musics like this, as doom metal, with similar gears: heaviness, repetitiveness, hypnotic sounds, ominous drones, are pointing the perfect absurdity of it.
